Public Investigations at the Historical Museum of St. James-Assiniboia This summer, the Winnipeg Paranormal Group partnered with the Historical Museum of St. James-Assiniboia to host public investigations on their historical property. The events were held monthly from July to October and were each sold out. Thank you to everyone who participated. We explored and investigated three different buildings on the property, some which were more active than others, depending on the night. Participants used some of our audio and video equipment to see what they could capture. Lots of interesting activity took place throughout the season and some of it was shared with us. The Historical Museum of St. James – Assiniboia is a two-story house built in 1856. It was owned by William Brown and Charlotte Omand. The main house is furnished with period pieces from 1860-1890.
