Have you ever wanted to know what we really do on an investigation? Well, you asked and we answered! The Winnipeg Paranormal Group recently did a presentation at the New Icelandic Heritage Museum in Gimli in October to a full house. The team went thru the basics of an investigation, the tools and sound clips along with a Q & A. Winnipeg Paranormal Group Lead investigators, Ashley and Kelly, along with investigator, Adam and investigator-in-training, Andrew led the discussion with an enthusiastic audience. There were tools of the trade such as a ghost box, K2 meter and an ovilus along with some evps that WPG caught on different investigations for the audience to hear. Over the weekend of September 12th, 13th and 14th leading experts in the field of paranormal research and investigation came together at the historic Marlborough Hotel in our very own Winnipeg for Paracon 2014. Winnipeg Paranormal Group Lead investigator, Kelly Smith along with WPG founder, Peter Andrew, spoke at the conference along side leading experts in the field. Experts flew in from all over including Ben Hansen of Fact or Faked, Scott Tepperman of Ghost Hunters International, Keith Age,  host and Associate Producer of Spooked TV, Tim Maile of Paranormal Witness, Scotty Rorek of Paranormal Witness and Children of the Grave 2, Winnipeg’s very own UFO and Paranormal author and expert, Chris Rutkowski and the Other Side’s crew, Jeff Richards, Bill Connelly and Priscilla Wolf. The conference was the second of it’s kind held in Winnipeg for paranormal fans and enthusiasts to meet investigators up close and listen to their own experiences.
